High-Density EEG

High-density electroencephalography (hdEEG) is an emerging brain imaging technique that can permit investigating fast dynamics of cortical electrical activity in the healthy and the diseased human brain.

Facility: The lab has two 128-channel EEG/ERP systems from (i) Electrical Geodesics Inc. (EGI) and (ii) Brain Products. These systems include: (i) 128-EEG channel Geodesic Sensor Nets, Net Amps 400 amplifier Net Station EEG acquisition and review software, iMac; (ii) 128-EEG channel K-Nets, BrainAmps, Recorder acquisition and Analyzer software, PC and laptops, as well as BrainAmps Ext, a portable amplifier modules of 8/16 channels. Our bipolar amplifiers can be combined with every BrainAmp amplifier or may be used as standalone systems.
