Raúl Rashid López

I am a neurologist and I work as a clinical researcher in the field of movement disorders, specifically in Parkinson’s disease. My expertise also include diagnosis and management of these patients including the use of brain mapping methods and neuroimaging techniques. I am responsible for working in evaluating candidates for DBS, as well as during the pre and postoperative period for surgical patients. 

We are currently studying how different brain stimulation techniques such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) affect the different neural networks involved in the pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease.
