Lucía Forero Diaz

Dr. Forero is Head of the Multiple Sclerosis Unit and her areas of interest include, multiple sclerosis, migraine and headaches disorder, and general neurology. Her dedication and passion for the study and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis manifests itself today in her role as a faculty physician at Puerta del Mar Hospital, where she focuses on the treatment of patients with MS and other similar demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system. She has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials and is committed to developing new therapies and providing comprehensive care for MS patients.

Dr. Forero's research interests include optimizing treatment decisions for patients with MS and recent advances in brain neuroimaging and biomarkers in MS from the research setting to clinical applications
