As an Associate Professor of Psychology and previously as a ‘Ramón-y-Cajal’ fellow at the University of Cadiz and at the INiBICA Institute, Dr. Javier J. González-Rosa is developing novel research lines to study cortical and subcortical networks underlying cognitive processing and cognitive decline in neurological and psychiatric patients using multimodal integration of EEG and fMRI data, or EEG and brain stimulation data.
He has an extensive expertise using electrophysiological (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and invasive (DBS) and non-invasive (TMS, tDCS, tSMS) brain stimulation techniques in humans.
